These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and Saarti Traders (“SAARTI”, “we”, “us”) for your use of the SAARTI – Debt Free app and website. By creating an account or using the app you accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
1. The service
SAARTI – Debt Free helps you organise your credit cards, loans, EMIs and due dates; track payments; view a credit report you upload; compare that report with your own records; and explore debt-planning ideas such as repayment strategies and consolidation. Features, screens and availability may change as the app develops.
2. Who can use SAARTI
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a legally binding contract in India. You must use SAARTI only for your own finances, or for someone else’s only with their clear permission.
3. Not financial advice
SAARTI is an organisation and information tool. We are not a bank, NBFC, lender, credit bureau, registered investment adviser or debt-settlement company. Strategies, tips, estimates and consolidation suggestions are general, are based only on the data you enter, and are not personalised financial, legal or tax advice. We do not guarantee that you will become debt free, reduce interest, improve your credit score, or be approved for any loan. Please consider speaking to a qualified professional before making major financial decisions.
4. Your account
You are responsible for the accuracy of what you enter, for keeping your password private, and for activity under your account. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access. We may ask you to verify your identity before we help with account or data requests.
5. Your information
The cards, loans and other records in the app are yours. You give us permission to store and process them to run the features you use, as described in our Privacy Policy. Results shown in the app, such as totals, balances, preclosure amounts and EMI schedules, are calculated from what you entered and may differ from your lender’s figures. Your lender’s statement always prevails.
6. Credit reports
Credit report data can be delayed, incomplete or different from your own records. Comparison results are for information only. SAARTI does not change credit bureau records, raise disputes on your behalf or contact lenders for you. If you find an error in your report, raise it with the credit bureau or your lender directly.
7. Reminders and payment records
Reminders depend on the information you supply and on your device, network and notification settings, so they may be late or may not arrive. Marking a bill or EMI as paid in SAARTI only updates your own record. It does not make a payment or transfer money. You remain responsible for paying your bills on time and for any late fees, interest or credit-score effects of missed payments.
8. Premium features and payments
Some features are marked with a crown and are premium. Pricing, plans and the exact list of premium features will be shown in the app before you pay. If paid plans are offered through Google Play, billing, renewal, cancellation and refunds follow Google Play’s policies and applicable Indian consumer law. We will not charge you without showing you the price first.
9. Lenders and third parties
Features such as Local Financer may show lenders or let you post a loan request. Lenders are independent businesses. We do not control their offers, charges or decisions, and we do not guarantee their reliability. Always read the lender’s terms, check that they are RBI-regulated where required, and never pay any “advance fee” to get a loan approved. Any dealings you have with a lender are directly between you and that lender.
10. Acceptable use
Please do not:
- use SAARTI for unlawful purposes or to enter someone else’s financial information without permission;
- attempt to hack, probe, overload or disrupt the app, or bypass its security;
- copy, reverse engineer or resell the app, except as the law allows;
- upload malware or content that you do not have the right to share; or
- use automated tools to scrape the app or website.
We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules.
11. Ownership
The SAARTI name, logo, design, text and software belong to Saarti Traders or its licensors and are protected by law. We give you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the app for its intended purpose. Your own records stay yours.
12. Availability and changes
We work to keep SAARTI running smoothly but cannot promise it will always be available or error-free. We may add, change or remove features, and we may update these Terms. For material changes we will give notice in the app or by email. If you keep using the app after the change takes effect, you accept the updated Terms.
13. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
The app is provided “as is” and “as available”, to the extent the law allows. We are not responsible for losses caused by incorrect data entered by you, missed or late reminders, differences between SAARTI’s calculations and your lender’s records, third-party lenders’ actions, or events outside our reasonable control. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the app is limited to the amount you paid us for the app in the 12 months before the claim (or ₹1,000 if you paid nothing). Nothing in these Terms limits any right you have under applicable consumer protection law or any liability that cannot legally be limited.
14. Ending your use
You can stop using SAARTI at any time and can delete your account by following the steps on the Account Deletion page. We may suspend or end your access if you break these Terms or if the law requires. Sections that by their nature should continue (such as ownership and limitation of liability) will continue after your account ends.
15. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. If a dispute cannot be settled by talking to us first, the courts at Delhi will have jurisdiction, subject to any consumer rights that allow you to approach a different forum.
